Problem #1: If fabric on shield pad has Velcro closure, child may unfasten Velcro & pull apart foam pad. Call: 800-837-4044 for new shield pad with button fasteners that cannot be removed by child. Problem #2: Models 4365 & 4368 manufactured 5/7/90-6/14/90 (9005-9006). Seats with "R" at the end of model number are NOT affected. Latch tongue may break in crash allowing child to slip out. Replacement harness kits can be identified by the letter "K" after the part number stamped on metal latch tongue. Destroy! Problem #3: Models 4353, 4365, 4368 pre 1/1/91 (9101 & lower). Instruction booklets may not advise owners when to switch shield from rear (inner-most) to forward (outer-most) latching positions. Failure to switch to forward latching position for a child weighing 30 pounds or more may result in difficult latch release after crash. Destroy!
